“Self-awareness is the foundation of every leadership skill: communication, delegation, conflict resolution, and even strategic direction can all be improved when you know who you are and what you bring to the table.”
—William Snyder
This workbook accompanies William K. Snyder’s book, The Arch of Traits, a character development framework designed to help individuals and organizations understand the role of ten core character traits in shaping executive leadership, strengthening collaboration, and informing approaches to conflict in the workplace. The Workbook is used in association with the Arch of Traits Assessment—a workplace-focused personality assessment that measures the ten core character traits and the degree to which they are expressed in practice. It is designed to generate insight from the Arch of Traits Assessment.
Throughout the workbook, you use your assessment results to examine how these traits show up in your day-to-day experience, and whether balance among the traits supports your effectiveness or imbalance impedes your progress or hurts your communication. The workbook provides space for reflection and application, helping you translate the assessment insights into greater self-awareness. This self-awareness becomes the foundation for cultivating your strengths with intention. The goal is not perfection, but clarity—so you can reinforce your strengths through balance and move toward sustained success in your work.
